We specially welcome you to our official site. The F.C.T People's Choice Awards is an Award aimed at recognizing, appreciating and celebrating Acts of Excellence and Dedication to duty. This prestigious Award is created to identify organizations, individuals and group of individuals, who are dedicated to giving our great country, Nigeria, a good name.
It is our believe that when an organization, a person or group of persons are committed to Acts of Nation building by ensuring excellent and effective service delivery in their area of endeavour, they should be recognised and appreciated. Research have also shown that when people are committed to doing the right thing, and society fails to acknowledge their effort, they may cease to bother about excellence and instead focus on material and financial benefits.
Identifying and Acknowledging genuine efforts at Excellence and dedication to duty will do one thing, which is, move the society forward. Viewing from this perspective and considering the challenges we face in the country today, we strongly believe that an Award like this will have a positive effect on the moral for excellence and duty.
Another reason for this prestigous award is, to promote honesty, integrity and revive the dying culture of dedication and passion to duty to father land as against Corruption and mediocrity.
Nomination into any of the award categories, is strictly on the basis of merit. This will be as decided by members of the general public through voting. Only nominees with the highest number of votes received in our data base can eventually emerge as worthy winners.

This Award, as the name implies is the People's Award. Our methodology therefore, is to get the general Public in and outside the F.C.T to nominate or vote a nominee who may finally emerge to receive an Award in any of the over 45 categories. The above however, is subject a subsequent investigation and confirmation by our professional panel of judges, by comparing the number of votes for a nominee against public opinion and actual performance evidence/facts on ground.
The criteria for nomination is based on performance in the previous one year. This is why the award is an annual event.
